Shel Silverstein has written many poems that inspire others writers to write in his way. So many of his poems influenced many others to write about sports, dancing, hoping and pretty much anything he could possibly think of. His poems were written for adults until he started to work on children’s books. Many of his poems are silly and directed more to kids than adults. Many people compared Shel to Dr. Sues for their poems. How life impacted him as a writer before he died, the poet’s milieu to help his work, and what does his poems mean or symbolizes.
Shel writes his poems with emotions instead of telling a moral story but in his poem he stills tells story. The poems he writes is about how the character feels in the poems. Some things in his poems represent what thing makes them have the emotion. The way Shel writes make the character happy with themselves. Shel’s poems inspire creativity in children’s mind.
